Presenting to you the bestsellers of Lucky Tea.

27 April 2014

Summer... is... killing... me.

Filipinos are well-known to have a good sense of cleanliness when it comes to the body. Some people like me even hit the shower twice a day when it becomes unbearably hot. While others resort to the beach, there are those like me who'd rather stay in the city. Luckily for us we city-dwellers can fight the heat with just a few lucky sips of milk tea loaded with a lovin' lots of 'good luck' from Lucky Tea.

We were invited by Lucky Tea to sit down and have a chat with them about their bestsellers and new menu. They are located in #749 Banawe Street corner Scout Alcaraz Street, which is actually just walking distance from our home. It's a very cozy place for hanging out since it's located in a quiet neighborhood yet near the main road. They also have ample parking space with security.

For those who are always looking for something new, you'll never get bored coming back since they have a wide range of menu for you to try. With around 70 milk tea variations (and still growing), it's surely enough reason for you to come back everyday. If you're new and not sure which to order, try their best sellers: Honeydew Green Apple Milk Tea and Machta Milk Tea. I super love the cleansing bittersweet taste of Mactha Tea. Their budget-friendly mouth-watering meals / drinks are something to look forward to.

During our visit, they served us with two sets of dishes. The first one were from their bestsellers: Lobster Ball, Mushroom Meat Ball, Chicken Chops, Fish Fillet, Crab Meat, and Tea Egg. The second set were from their new menu, American-style: Corndog, Hamburger (with fries), and Chorizo Aglio Olio. For the milk tea, each of us got to try 2 or 3 full-sized drinks, and then trial-sizes of their other milk tea.

It was a pleasure to have been invited to Lucky Tea. The food, drinks and ambiance were wonderful and we also had a great time talking about the food. To name my favorites: Fish Fillet with rosemary herbs, Corndog, Chicken Chop, Hamburger, Chorizo Aglio Olio, Black Sesame Milk Tea and Mactha Latte Tea.

[PS. You can get as much as 50% off their products via Groupon (Voucher valid from May 5 to August 5, 2014). Lucky Tea is also open to franchise. Scroll down for their contact details.]

Black Sesame Milk Tea has an unusual flavor. It actually tastes like mung beans from hopia and I loved it so much!

Rock Salt & Cheese Dark Choco is the best of their bestsellers according to them.
I agreed once I took a sip. The mix is very rich and creamy.
