Not all primers are made the same. Some may have moisturizing, while others oil control. This BYS primer aims to be LUMINIZING -- pore refining, matte finish, oil control and brightens the skin. It feels very creamy but not moist. When I smooth it over my face, it feels very slippery and ends with a powdery texture. The pearlescent undertone gives the skin a glowing finish. At the end of the day, I see that this primer holds well to its promise of oil control too. You get long lasting makeup throughout the day, less visible pores, and no need for touch-ups.
